Abstract

Abstract

In this editorial, we report the paths taken by the Revista Interinstitucional Brasileira de Terapia Ocupacional (REVISBRATO) between the years 2019 and 2023. Along this journey, many challenges were presented, steps reached, necessary route deviations and much maturation of the publishing process and acceptance of the Occupational Therapy community. Throughout its short period of existence, REVISBRATO has reached high heights, with uninterrupted publications from January 2017 to the present day, being in its eighth volume this year 2024. Since 2019, the year after the publication of our last team editorial, we had an increase in the number of publications and special issues, totaling 5 volumes with around 270 articles, divided between cover images, original articles, reviews, analysis of practice and current topics: 4 special issues and dossiers with different themes and recognition from the Occupational Therapy scientific community. In addition to these numbers, we received classification in the Qualis system for Capes journals with B2 stratification, in addition to indexing in the LILACS database. This entire journey was and is only possible because we believe in the strength of the collective and in the quality productions that are carried out by occupational therapists spread around the world and who carry with them the nobility of sharing knowledge and practices.

Key words: Occupational therapy. Publishing. Scholarly Communication
