2. Original Article
A manuscript resulting from research—whether theoretical/conceptual, experimental, exploratory, or empirical—addressing topics of interest in the field of Occupational Therapy and related interdisciplinary areas. This type of manuscript must be structured as follows: Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion. Includes References.
3. Review Article

Articles adhering to the guidelines outlined in the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) checklist (http://www.prisma-statement.org/) will be accepted.
4. Practice Analysis Article
This category consists of a brief critical analysis of an Occupational Therapy practice context. Finally, a summary of the conclusions drawn from the practice in the presented context must be included. These analyses may be specific to Occupational Therapy or interdisciplinary in nature, provided they are relevant to the field of Occupational Therapy knowledge.
5. Current Topics
Open communications, Occupational Therapy memoirs, and opinions and reflections on topics relevant to Occupational Therapy and related fields. These are shorter than original articles and have a more flexible structure. They may include reports on project and program development, review protocols, and results from national and international meetings, symposia, and conferences in Occupational Therapy and related areas. This section also includes interviews with occupational therapists or individuals who have contributed to the development of the profession domestically or abroad, translations of texts or articles, and previously unpublished historical documents.
6. Cover Image

Peer Review Process
The *Revista Interinstitucional Brasileira de Terapia Ocupacional* (Brazilian Interinstitutional Journal of Occupational Therapy) employs a double-blind peer review system. Manuscripts submitted to Revisbrato are first evaluated by the editorial office using a checklist to verify compliance with the journal's guidelines. If the guidelines are met, the manuscripts are sent to section editors for a preliminary assessment, which considers originality, contribution and relevance to the field of Occupational Therapy, general structure, and methodological robustness.
If the preliminary assessment is positive, the manuscript proceeds to peer review, where two reviewers provide reports that are then reviewed and approved by the section editor. A manuscript receiving two favorable reports is accepted, while one receiving two unfavorable reports is definitively rejected. If a manuscript receives one favorable and one unfavorable report, a third report is requested to assist in the editorial decision.
In the event of a conflict of interest involving reviewers, the manuscript is assigned to a different reviewer.
The editor responsible for the manuscript's evaluation process notifies the author of the decision: "Acceptance," "Acceptance with minor adjustments," "Mandatory corrections" (and a new round of reviewer analysis), or “Rejection” and subsequent archiving.
In the event of "acceptance with minor adjustments" or "mandatory corrections," authors have 15 (fifteen) days to resubmit the manuscript, which will then undergo a new round of peer review, followed by a final decision from the editor.
In the event of "rejection," authors will be notified of the reason for the refusal.
Works with content significantly similar (plagiarism) to other publications will be rejected at any stage of the process where this is identified.
The average turnaround time from receipt for evaluation to confirmation of publication is approximately 110 days.
