O artigo propõe uma aproximação entre a filosofia de Nietzsche e o romance Grande Sertão: Veredas de Guimarães Rosa. Analisaremos, pela perspectiva nietzscheana, a saga de Riobaldo e a gênese e formação de um destino, ou melhor, dos vários destinos que vão se apresentando ao herói do romance.
