This article proposes an interpretative key for the work 'Thus Spoke Zarathustra' based on the conception of philosophy as a way of life and, in particular, on the phenomenon of philosophical conversion. In virtue of this, Nietzsche's diagnosis of the 'Death of God' will be contrasted with the possibility of approaching a 'new sense of the earth.' After a brief introduction to the ancient model of philosophy, we will present how the philosophical conversion, as outlined by Pierre Hadot and Michel Foucault, can help understand the spiritual metamorphoses of Zarathustra until he becomes the prophet of a different humanity.
Keywords: Spirituality. Philosophical conversion. Zarathustra. Creation. Death of God.
