Abstract

Theoretical considerations about Geography and the environment are made initially in the text. The concept of Intermediate Synthesis in relation to decision support is briefly discussed. A Spatialized Management Tree is presented as an example, showing some of its useful applications, including cost-benefit analysis coupled with simulations. Conclusions are presented concerning the importance of integrative informational structures as decision support procedures.
