Abstract: According to Hegel, the content of the work of art becomes absolute in the autonomy of human action as a passion. Hamlet feels as if there was something obscure with his father's death . He appear as a ghost and unveils the delict to him. Hamlet hesitates and doesn't act immediately. He was accused of pensive, melancholic, but Shakespeare gives Hamlet a character of autonomy in his actions. Hamlet hesitates because he doesn't blindly believe in the ghost, he wants to know the truth of his own accord. Hegel shows how this subject's autonomy loses itself in the laws of the prosaic State, where submitting to the laws falls to the subject.

Key words: hero; autonomy; passion; dialectic; tragic.
