Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to present the notion of inheritance as an essential quasi-concept to the so called ‘deconstruction thinking’ by the French-Algerian thinker Jacques Derrida. Furthermore, it introduces the debate over inheritance as something that is unavoidable to the thinking scope in general. For this to happen, we are going to make a reading of Spectres of Marx (1994), in order to showing the readers the inseparable relation between inheritance and spectres, trying to emphasize its role as an action, a contradictory task that demands choice and responsibility in front of what did not choose to receive.
