Abstract

This article proposes a critical dialogue between Giorgio Agamben and Judith Butler based on the tension between form of life and livable life. It analyzes Agamben’s ontology, which conceives the inseparability of life and form as resistance to biopolitics, contrasted with Butler’s political ethics centered on vulnerability and the concrete conditions that make livable life possible. Through a comparative conceptual analysis, the article investigates the limits and potentials of these approaches in relation to contemporary demands for justice and visibility, concluding that their articulation offers relevant contributions to a politics of life.
