“FICO AQUI E FICO LÁ” MEMÓRIAS E EXPERIÊNCIAS FORMATIVAS DE UMA ACADÊMICA EM EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA NA FRONTEIRA BRASIL-BOLÍVIA

Abstract

This article analyzes the formative experiences of a borderland undergraduate student in Physical Education, highlighting intercultural knowledge produced on the border between Brazil and Bolivia. Methodologically, it is grounded in narrative research and biographical approaches, taking the first author’s memories as a historical source and analytical category. The sources reveal tensions of otherness, nationality-based bullying, transborder urban mobility, body practices, and linguistic conflicts associated with Portuñol in basic and higher education. It concludes that pendular identity, synthesized in the expression “I stay here and I stay there,” constitutes an intercultural competence that challenges school, academic, and linguistic conventions.
