“O autor de si mesmo” e “Mineirinho” diante da violência
Abstract
“O autor de si mesmo” e “Mineirinho” são reações a notícias de jornal sobre casos de grande violência. Ambos são também crônicas publicadas em órgãos importantes da imprensa de sua época, a Gazeta de Notícias, no caso de Machado de Assis, e a revista Senhor, no caso de Clarice Lispector. Este artigo propõe analisar essas crônicas paralelamente, de modo a investigar as modalidades de reação diante da violência que elas corporificam.
