Resumo

Roberta Pires de Oliveira interviews Gennaro Chierchia

The interview surveys the main topics that constitute common-ground in contemporary semantics aiming at introducing a map to guide students’ education as linguists.

 

Biografia do Autor

Roberta Pires de Oliveira, Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina

Professora Titular pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, graduada em Letras (Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1985)), mestre em Linguística (Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1991)) e doutora em Linguística (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (1995)). Pós-doutorado no Massachussets Institute of Techonology (MIT), de 2004 a 2005, e em Harvard University, de 2012 a 2013, com financiamento da CAPES. Professora visitante em Harvard University em 2016. É professora na Licenciatura em Letras da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina e professora efetiva da Pós-Graduação em Linguística da Universidade Federal do Paraná e da Pós-Graduação em Inglês da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. Áreas de atuação: Semântica e Pragmática de vertente formal; Filosofia da Linguagem; Filosofia da Linguística; Semântica e Pragmática Experimentais; Educação e divulgação científica. Coordenou o projeto de cooperação internacional CAPES/COFECUB, “Nominais Nus no PB: a interface sintaxe-semântica”, juntamente com a profa. Carmen Dobrovie-Sorin, CNRS-LLF, Paris 7 de 2009 a 2012. Coordenou a primeira Licenciatura em Letras-Português a distância da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina de 2009 a 2012 e coordenou a fase final da segunda edição. Participou do Projeto de Cooperação CAPES-Nufic coordenado pela profa. Maria José Foltran (UFPR). Pesquisadora 1 do CNPq.
