In June 2013, several political mobilizations have taken over the streets of the Brazilian cities. During these acts, police repression became routine and increasingly truculent. In Rio de Janeiro, some of the officers involved in these activities were reported and are responding to the Military Court. This article attempts to discuss the treatment given by the State Military Justice of Rio de Janeiro to cases involving the performance of military police in this context.
