Bullying at Work in Rio Grande do Sul at the Beginning Of the 21st Century: A Sociological Perspective

The article analyses of the relationship between socioeconomic indicators and legal claims of bullying at work. It empirically investigates 9,858 decisions of the Regional Court of the Rio Grande do Sul State, between 2001 and 2014, in 55 cities. Given the rate of judicial decisions on bullying by municipality, the correlation was performed with 90 social and economic indicators. The results showed correlation of the demands with social and economic development in municipalities assessed; however, the precarious living conditions of the habitants give little demands.Downloads
