Understanding consumption as an instrument of meaning construction, this work seeks to deepen the analysis of expressions of consumption that claim for themselves the status of political manifestation, considering the process of criticism and justification present in these relations. Through an observation with ethnographic inspiration, this paperfocuses on the speeches of actors connected to a center of sustainable entrepreneurship located in Vitória/ES. The critical strategies emerged from this analysis are aimed at repositioning the actors within their fields of action, indicating a questioning of the model of capitalist development with a corrective nature.Downloads
