This paper analyses the web of meaning that run through the discourses of different juvenile justice actors who promote the use of the restorative approach in Argentina. The findings are discussed within the paradoxical Argentine context, in which advances of rights coexist with punitive demands. The materials analysed arise from empirical research carried out between 2016 and 2019.
