Between the Fetus and the ‘Mother’: Framings in the Brazilian Anti-Abortion Movement. The article analyzes the main repertoire of protest used by the National Movement Brazil Without Abortion, the National March for Life. After situating the emergence of this collective actor in the political confrontation that has developed since the Redemocratization between feminist movements and ‘pro-life’ groups, we analyze the Marches of 2020 and 2021, which took place online, and conclude that there are two main strategic frames and that between one march and the other there was a shift in emphasis—from the figure of the fetus to the figure of the ‘mother’—which constitutes an expansion in the frames of the anti-abortion field.
