Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The contribution is original and unprecedented and isn’t being evaluated to the publication by other Journal; otterwise, it must be justified in “Comments to the editor”.
  • The archive of submission is in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice or RTF format.
  • URLs for the references were informed as soon as well.
  • The text is in simple space; use the font times new roman, size 12, spacement 1,5 between lines to the normal text; put italic instead of underlined (except in URL address); the figures and tables are inserted in the text, not in the end of the document in the form of attachments.
  • The text follows the standards of style and bibliographic requirements in the Guidelines for the Authors in supra
  • In case of submission and a section of evaluation by the pairs (ex.: articles), the instructions availables in Ensuring the evaluation of double blind review was followed.

Author Guidelines

Admissibility criterion: Will be accepted articles developed by academics and specialists with title of doctors or master’s degree, co-authorship with master’s students is also possible, observed the rules and standards for the publication of this Journal.

I- The original articles that are in accordance with the purposes and pertinence of Journal INTER will be aired, submitted to the notice in electronic media, according to the requested date in these notices.

II- Submissions sent by master’s students will only be analyzed when presented with co-authorship with academics whose titulation is doctorate degree.

III- Co-authorship will be accepted up to 2 academics.

IV- All the articles must present a structure:

 

  1. Pre textual elements: title, whose source must be size 14, bold and centralized, with English version; identification of authorship and credentials, such as complete names of the authors and coauthors, titrations, institutional bonds, current professional activities and e-mail, mention to received subventions, support and funding; abstract up to 600 words, on your vernacular language and the English version, as well to 3 to 6 keywords, also with correspondent and summary.
  2. Textual elements: introduction, development and conclusion.
  3. Post textual elements: list of references, which must contain only works effectively mentioned in the text.
  4. All the texts must follow the rules of Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas, or in English, Brazilian Association for Technical Standards (ABNT).
  5. The works must be, preferentially, written in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, Italian or German, and sent in format .DOC or .DOCX
  6. The margins of the page must be: top 3 cm, bottom 2 cm, left 3 cm and right 2 cm.
  7. The textual format must be: font times new roman, font size 12, line spacing 1,5 between the lines to the normal text.
  8. All the primaries titles must be written in Caps Lock, font size 12 in Bold. Paragraphs must be indented ny 1,25  cm, the space between the lines must be of 1,5 per line. The secondaries titles must be written in lowercase letters, font 12 in italic.
  9. The citations with less than 3 lines must follow between quotation marks, without using italic. The longer citations must be highlighted from the paragraph and setet with 4,0 cm of indent, font 10 and simple space between lines
  10. Every highlight desired to give to the printed text must be done using Bold. Italic will only be used to terms of indication in foreign language.
  11. The bibliographical references should come in a unic list at the end of the work, ordered by the alphabetic system, written in simple space, separated by double-space.

 

V- The publication of the received collaborations will be conditioned to the evaluation of the Scientific Council of the Journal and the eventual evaluators ad hoc, who will approve, suggest alterations or decline them definitely.

VI- The Journal Editor will send by electronic media confirming the works received, also with the list of those that have been selected to the respective publication as well.

VII- The Journal Editor can execute, with or without recommendation of the Scientific Council and of the evaluators ad hoc, small changes by purely formal nature of the texts received, in order to adapt them to the ABNT standards.

VIII- The publication doesn’t involve any kind of remuneration.

IX- No copyright or remuneration will be due for the publication of works on INTER Journal.

IMPORTANT NOTE: to attend the exogenous criteria to the academics periodics to the juridical area, established by the Qualis Commission of CAPES, the INTER Journal will not receive articles derived from the Rio de Janeiro.

ARTICLES

Contributions in Portuguese, English and Spanish. These must be original and original, and must meet the scope of the publication.

REVIEWS

Reviews of books published up to a maximum of 2 years ago. Reviews can be written in the languages accepted by the Journal, namely, Portuguese, English or Spanish. The submitted reviews will be evaluated by the Editorial Board of the Magazine, which will analyze the relevance of the publication considering: 1) relevance of the work; 2) quality and critical approach to the review; and, finally, 3) relevance of the work in relation to the scope of the Journal. Reviews must contain between 4-10 pages. The formatting rules are the same as the articles, that is, the works must be unpublished, contain specific development and bibliographic references. Merely descriptive reviews of works are not accepted.
