A CONEXIDADE ENTRE TRATADOS INTERNACIONAIS, COSTUMES E PRINCÍPIOS GERAIS DE DIREITO
Abstract
This writing is based on the understanding that the traditional production model of international law based on treaties, customs and general principles of law must be read and studied in relation and not in a sealed and isolated way. To attend this purpose the article demonstrates how these elements relate and request each other. Each of these sources is described by the author as a normative subsystem within international law. These subsystems interact, forming part of what is understood as the general theory of international law. Our thesis is that understanding these subsystems in this way makes the general apprehension of the internationalist theory more robust. The methodology used is legal-normative with a propositional nature.
