POPULAÇÃO EM SITUAÇÃO DE RUA: DESENCRIPTANDO O MODELO TRANSCENDENTE QUE OCULTA AS POLÍTICAS PÚBLICAS DE CONCESSÃO DE BENEFÍCIOS SOCIAIS E DADOS RELACIONADOS AO CADÚNICO NO MUNICÍPIO DE MONTES CLAROS/MG
Abstract
This study aims, through bibliographical and documentary research, to provide a historical overview of the urbanization process in Brazil and analyze its correlation with the housing deficit the country currently faces. Over the decades, urbanization has contributed to the uncontrolled growth of cities, creating structural problems and accentuating social disparities, especially in relation to housing. The study also seeks to investigate the reality of the homeless population in the municipality of Montes Claros, using data from the Federal Government’s Unified Registry (Cadastro Único). The analysis aims to identify the characteristics and needs of this population group, as well as provide support for the formulation of more accurate diagnoses and the development of more effective public policies aimed at the social inclusion of this vulnerable population. From the perspective of the theory of the encryption of power, the study proposes a critical approach to the current political model, which, according to this theory, conceals its true intentions and limits the access of marginalized populations to social benefits. The goal is to unveil these hidden layers and contribute to the improvement of public policies aimed at this population.
