Abstract

This article makes a foray into the history of Luanda and its cinemas in the frst half of the twentieth century. In general terms, it gives a great panorama of the history of the city and the then existing cinema, and then discusses the spatialization of cinemas, trying to understand how this spatialization reflected the existence of an increasingly divided and segregated city
