The objective of this study is to develop an analysis of the poetry of the Mozambican writer Sónia Sultuane, showing how the metaphorization of the female body assumes poetic dimensions that problematize race, class and gender relations in order to update critical discussions about political, literary and cultural positionings of contemporary female autorship in Mozambique.
