Juízos como os que atestam que os autores publicados em Portugal são os melhores escritores africanos de seus países deveriam pressupor considerações mais sérias do que os preconceitos baseados em categorias extraliterárias ou no simples gosto dos “juízes” que os proferem, pois é preciso não esquecer que sobretudo a cultura é objeto de desejo no jogo de prestígios e de hegemonias socioculturais, político-ideológicas e linguísticas. Seria muita ingenuidade pensar que a expressão literária é tão isenta assim de ideologias, de apologias e de irrupções celebrativas de interesses.
