As fronteiras entre a história e a ficção podem, de fato, parecer tênues, mas, para mim, são muito claras. Li, algures, já não posso precisar onde, nem em que circunstância, acerca da indignação de Umberto Eco com o Código da Vinci, de Dan Brown, pelo fato de este último autor fazer passar especulações por indícios de verdade. De fato, para mim, é este o limite último da ficção, a única coisa que não lhe é permitida, a linha que jamais pode ser transposta: confundir-se deliberadamente com a verdade.
