Abstract

O artigo propõe uma análise do romance O quase fim do mundo (2008), de Pepetela, como uma narrativa que sugere a alternativa africana para o argumento cinematográfico desenvolvido no filme Eu sou a lenda (2007). Para tanto, desenvolve-se a ideia da adaptação cinematográfica, como pressuposto preliminar para o grande desvio literário de Pepetela.
