It is with great satisfaction that the editorial committee of Revista Mulemba publishes its edition 14.2, whose main objective is to discuss the existing intersections between the fields of orality and writing. Already extensively debated throughout the history of African literary studies, such dialogue now finds a new possibility of appreciation, which is as much influenced by new theoretical perspectives as by the choice of the corpus that compose the articles of our journal. In discussing "The presence of oral cultures in Portuguese-speaking African literatures", we reaffirm our commitment to relevant discussions that foster the study of what is culturally produced in Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde, Sao Tome and Principe and Guinea Bissau.Downloads
