Abstract

In this interview, given to researcher Katria Gabrieli Fagundes Galassi, professor and researcher Simone Caputo Gomes gives an overview of Cape Verdean literature, portraying when her interest in the islands of Cape Verde arose, from the work of poet Daniel Filipe, through the discovery of Cape Verdean female writers, bringing new names from the literary scene in Cape Verde.

Author Biography

Katria Gabrieli Fagundes Galassi, UFRJ

Doutoranda no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Letras Vernáculas na UFRJ. Mestra em Estudos de Linguagens e Literatura Comparada pela Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul (2011). Possui graduação em Letras Português-Espanhol pela UFMS (2007). Integrante do Grupo de Pesquisa Escritas do Corpo Feminino UFRJ. Membro da Afrolic. Dedica-se atualmente aos estudos de Literatura Cabo-verdiana de Dina Salústio com foco no corpo, memória e tempo feminino. Também possuo interesse na escrita feminina negro-brasileira.
