Based on Eric Gontijo Costa's thoughts in “Poema do Pensamento: as 'Artes Poéticas' by Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen”, this work exercises, comparatively, reflections on the relationship between poetry and thinking in the works of the Portuguese poet, and Cecília Meirelles and Glória de Sant'Anna. Based on the thoughts of Jean Luc-Nancy in Resistência da poesia and Jacques Derrida in “Che cos’èla poetry?”, the objective is to investigate “the motives of poetry” as an autonomous work of art that produces knowledge, contained in itself. In other words, poetry as an expression in art of its own theory.Downloads
