Abstract

This editorial introduces the Special Issue on Macroecology and Geographical Ecology, edited by Marcos S. L. Figueiredo and Marcelo M. Weber. It presents nine original manuscripts that cover subjects as community organization, evolutionary diversification, spatial patterns of diversity, and geographical range shifts, hoping to stimulate young researchers to think their own research through the macroecological perspective.
