Resumo

Biological Reserve Tamboré (RBT) is an Atlantic Forest conservation area with secondary vegetation, located in Santana de Parnaíba municipality, in the urban area of ??São Paulo, Brazil. Using complementary methods of active and passive capture (pitfalltraps), we obtained a total of 410 records, divided into 357 of amphibians identified in 26 species, and 53 records of reptiles identified in ten lizard species and four species of snakes. The remaining set of species is of typical animals of the Atlantic Forest. In the area are found some species of endemic distribution such as the dot-Goldeneye (Brachycephalus nodoterga). RBT is located in a populous urban area and during this study suffered direct and indirect influence of anthropogenic factors, such as the illegal use for recreation, hunting of wild animals, exploitation of commercial species and the introduction of exotic species and domestic. The RBT conservation problems are similar to other Atlantic Forest conservation units.
