Resumo

Feeding is probably the most important activity played by an individual. There are several foraging strategies and it has been intensively studied since the release of the Optimal Foraging Theory. Mollusca is regarded as the second most diverse phylum of invertebrate animals, therefore, disposes of a wide range of tactics to obtain food. Their foraging strategies will be presented in the upcoming article, as well as the reasons why they have been understudied. The review also aims at analyzing whether the discussion has been increasing or decreasing over the years.
