This text proposes a reflection on the crossings of the field of Somat-ics and the emerging methodology of Practice as Research (PaR) in the artistic-academic context of Dance Studies. Through the unfold-ing premises of these actions in research in/with Art today, we seek to outline general aspects of their epistemologies. This synthesis in process is an expanded action –which will continue in future publica-tions –for a deeper development of topicsthat need further discus-sion in the field of Dance research inBrazil.
