Information For Authors

The Revista Brasileira de Neurologia (RBN) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published by the Institute of Neurology Deolindo Couto of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (INDC-UFRJ), in association with the Neurology Association of Rio de Janeiro (Associação de Neurologia do Estado do Rio de Janeiro-ANERJ).

The journal’s primary objective is to publish high-quality scientific articles with emphasis on clinical neurology, while also encompassing basic and clinical neurosciences.

Authors interested in submitting manuscripts are encouraged to consult the journal’s sections and carefully review the Editorial Policies and Guidelines for Authors, which describe the scope, manuscript categories, and submission requirements.

Submissions are accepted exclusively through the journal’s electronic system. Authors must be registered in the system before submission. Once registered, authors may initiate the five-step online submission process by logging in to their user account.
