Author Biography

Francisco Lopez Segrera, Professor titular adjunto de ISRI (Cuba).

Historian, PhD in Latin American and Hispanic Studies from the University Paris VIII, Sorbonne. Vice-Rector of the Higher Institute of International Relations (ISRI), Cuba (1974-1988) and Professor of Research Methods and Techniques. UNESCO official between 1994 and 2002, where he served, among other positions, as Regional Advisor for Social Sciences for Latin America and the Caribbean and Director of the UNESCO International Institute for Higher Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (IESALC).

Associate Professor at ISRI (Cuba).
ISRI (Cuba). Academic advisor, editor and author at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia of the Global University Network for Innovation Reports, he has been visiting professor and/or guest lecturer at more than 140 universities worldwide.
