Sobre a palavra “humanismo”

Abstract

Este artigo apresenta um breve histórico do termo “humanismo”, explorando a sua plurivocidade e buscando, com isso, esclarecer seus sentidos possíveis apesar da consequente equivocidade que se apresenta. Esse intento se justifica notadamente pela raridade de trabalhos filosóficos que a isso se dediquem, sobretudo em língua portuguesa, apesar do extenso uso do termo no debate filosófico contemporâneo.

Danilo Bilate, UFRRJ

Professor Adjunto do Departamento de Filosofia e do PPGFIL da UFRRJ. Doutor em Filosofia pela UFRJ e pela Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne em cotutela, com bolsa CAPES (2012). Mestre em Filosofia pelo PPGF-UFRJ com bolsa-auxílio CAPES (2007). Bacharel em Filosofia, incluindo licenciatura plena, pela UFRJ (2005) e graduado em Psicologia pela UERJ (2005). Autor de "Nietzsche et l'affectologie: pour une éthique des affects" (2015) e "A tirania do sentido: uma introdução a Nietzsche" (2011), tem, em fase final de editoração, a versão brasileira de "Nietzsche et l'affectologie" com previsão de publicação em 2018 com apoio APQ3 FAPERJ. É líder do Grupo de Pesquisa Humanismo, membro integrante da SIEDS (Société internationale d'étude du dix-huitième siècle) e da ABES18 - Associação Brasileira de Estudos do Século XVIII.
