Filosofia e Filologia, Tragédia e Catarse: sobre a presença de Aristóteles na formação filosófica de Nietzsche

Resumo

Preterido durante muito tempo e por grande parte dos intérpretes, em favor, especialmente, de Schopenhauer, Wagner ou ainda de Platão, Aristóteles parece não desempenhar nenhum papel importante, estratégico, na formação do pensamento de Nietzsche. O objetivo deste artigo, ao contrário, é mostrar em que medida Aristóteles esteve presente no horizonte filosófico de Nietzsche desde o seu começo. Estranho seria que isso não acontecesse, dado o interesse de Nietzsche pela questão da tragédia e o papel fundamental da Poética nesta discussão. Assim sendo, procuramos reconstruir, nas suas linhas mais gerais, o debate inicial de Nietzsche com Aristóteles, cujas consequências se farão sentir em toda a obra do filósofo alemão.

Abstract: Pretermitted for a long time and by most interpreters, in favor, especially, of Schopenhauer, Wagner or even Plato, Aristotle does not seem to play any important, strategic role, in the formation of Nietzsche's thinking. The purpose of this article, instead, is to show to what extent Aristotle was present in Nietzsche's philosophical horizon since its beginning. Strange it would be if this not happen, given the interest of Nietzsche on the issue of tragedy and the fundamental role of the Poetics in this discussion. Therefore, we intend to rebuild, in its more general lines, the initial debate of Nietzsche with Aristotle, whose consequences will be felt throughout the work of German philosopher.
