O imaginário e o processo de criação artística

Resumo

Este artigo tem o intuito de analisar a noção de imaginário do filósofo Jean-Paul Sartre e o processo de criação artística do dramaturgo Luigi Pirandello. A partir de aproximações entre o texto O imaginário, de Sartre, e a obra teatral Assim é (se lhe parece), de Pirandello, é possível conceber o imaginário como uma das fontes da criação artística. O imaginário, para Sartre, além de ser uma determinação fundamental de uma pessoa, é uma função psíquica estruturante da consciência. O que Pirandello efetiva ao escrever uma peça de teatro é um convite, através de um objeto imaginário, a irrealizar-se, a distanciar-se do mundo real. A arte é produzida por um encantamento que procura inventar um mundo com outras significações possibilitando novas escolhas existenciais. Abstract: This article aims to analyze the notion of imaginary of the philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre and the process of artistic creation of the playwright Luigi Pirandello. From the similarities between The Imaginary, a text by Sartre, and So it is (if it looks), a play by Pirandello, it is possible to conceive the imaginary as a source of artistic creation. The imaginary, for Sartre, as well as being a fundamental determination of a person, is a psychic function that structures the consciousness. What Pirandello does when he writes a play is an invitation, through an imaginary object, to become unreal, distancing themselves from the real world. The art is produced by a enchantment that seeks to invent a world with other meanings enabling new existential choices.
