Abstract

This work attempts, initially, to systematize the figural-philosophical motifs that inform the spectrology or spectropoetics practiced by Derrida in the conference-book Specters of Marx, by 1993, adding to this systematizing effort a reflection on the place of literature in this book and the possibility of thinking critically about it based on those motifs. Subsequently, we seek to explore the critical productivity of this reflexive systematization in a reading of Grande sertão: veredas, by João Guimarães Rosa, exploring the games of contiguity and difference between the figures that make up the conflict nucleus, the patriarchal circle captained by the great chiefs and, finally, the dramatic-narrative macrodiegesis of the novel.
