MARTIAL ARTS AND/OR COMBAT SPORTS CONTENT IN SCHOOL PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Authors

Abstract

This work aims to analyze, through a narrative review, how the content on Martial Arts and/or Combat Sports is developed in School Physical Education and, if not developed in the school context, what factors are considerable for its non-use. The search process was conducted on the CAPES Journal Portal, Google Scholar, and SciELO platforms. As results, we observed a predominance of non-use due to a lack of knowledge about the areas, fear of a possible increase in school violence, lack of structure/equipment, and lack of contact with such content in training.
