Proposing an analysis of Fiama Hasse Pais Brandão's poem "Canto da chávena de chá", the present article tries to understand how, in the poem, the constitutive elements of a tea scene reveals their working and composing system through a close relationship between the poet's voice and the objects that surrounds it by working poetically with language. Using the concept of reflection from the German romantics, the article pretends to bring the hypothesis that, in Fiama's poem, the poetry is necessary for knowing reality, counting on Jorge Fernandes da Silveira's and Rosa Maria Martelo's fundamental contributions.
