Abstract

This work analyzes the stories of Rubem Fonseca, Nélida Piñon and Clarice Lispector in their dialogue with texts of the Portuguese literary tradition, by Almeida Garrett, Camões and Eça de Queiroz, and reflects on the political dimension of contemporary Brazilian literature.

Maria Luiza Scher Pereira, Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora (UFJF)

Possui graduação em Letras pela Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, Mestrado em Letras pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (1980), e Doutorado em Letras (Literatura Portuguesa) pela Universidade de São Paulo. Atualmente é professora aposentada, Associado 4, da Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, atuando como Colaboradora no PPG Letras - Estudos Literários. Tem experiência de ensino, pesquisa e orientação na área de Letras, com ênfase em estudos de literatura, crítica e teoria da literatura, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: comparativismo, identidade e diferença cultural, memória e arquivo, acervos literários e Murilo Mendes.
