Húmus, um romance em deriva: notas sobre a problemática do tempo

Húmus, publicado em 1917 por Raul Brandão, funda uma nova tradição na literatura portuguesa do século XX. Ao romper com os conceitos de história e de tempo lineares, o romancista aproxima-se do pensamento de Walter Benjamin, principal apoio teórico deste trabalho. Assim, delineando uma narrativa fragmentada, cujas categorias estruturantes entram em colapso, Brandão antecipa o modelo de romance conhecido como nouveau roman.
