Este trabalho, abrigado no paradigma funcionalista, que concebe padrões gramaticais emergirem do discurso, investiga diferentes usos do verbo chegar, com o propósito de observar se esse item, em construções do tipo chegar a + INF, está funcionando como verbo auxiliar, passando, portanto, pelo processo de gramaticalização.Downloads
