L'argumentation, une stratégie discursive sous surveillance

Cet article fait une description de la mécanique discoursive argumentative sous-jacente a toute activité de langage, pour montrer comme le sujet du discours peut faire Å“uvre de stratégies dans une situation de communication particulière. On peut en tirer certains enseignements: cet acte argumentative ne peut être jugé et validé qu'en fonction des contraintes de la situation de communication et du projet de parole que le sujet met en oeuvre dans des stratégies; car les textes sont pluriels, relevant le plus souvent de types discursifs différents, ne pas chercher des types de textes qui seraient définis comme uniquement argumentatifs; enfin, faut-il préciser, qu'à traiter l'argumentation comme une pratique sociale dont on cherche à déterminer les conditions d'énonciation, on voit mieux comment peuvent s'exercer les jeux de manipulation et de contre-manipulation dans les échanges langagiers.
