This paper discusses the presence of women in the" world "of violence and crime, highlighting the places that female violence occupies in the social imaginary, legal discourses and historiography, almost always seen as out of place, which presupposes a non-female violence. We conducted analysis of crimes against the patrimony and public faith from 1965 to 1980 that had women as authors in the Guarapuava County, Paraná. Based on this and on the women’s history and gender studies, we delineated profiles and the involvement in criminal practices, demystifying naturalized discourses of passive femininity and idealized stereotypes, and looking at the gender constructs present in the documentation.Published
