Conservative Associations' Actions in the Judicial Arena Against LGBTQIA+ Demands This article analyzed cases in the Federal Supreme Court (STF) where conservative entities acted as amicus curiae against LGBTQIA+ rights. The objective was to learn about the entities, their arguments, and the outcomes of the cases. This is a qualitative and documentary study of the cases available on the STF website. The results show that the advance of conservative groups in Brazil is concentrated on LGBTQIA+ rights, seeking to protect their members and dictate rules on sexuality, using legal arguments and moral and denialist persuasion. The study contributes to understanding the strategies for the advance of Brazilian conservatism.
