Interview with Ungulani Ba Ka Khosa.
Summary biography of the interviewee:
Ungulani Ba Ka Khosa (*1957, Inhaminga) is the current president of AEMO (Association of Mozambican Writers). In the last two decades he became one of the most skilled intermediaries between Bantu cultures and Portuguese language. His work is undoubtedly central to the process of cultural awareness in Mozambique. Some of the core issues of his books are the rediscovery of the pre-colonial and colonial past, the construction of an integrative historical memory and the mediation between rural and urban space. This interview took place on July 17, 2014, in AEMO's headquarters in Maputo.
