Luandino Vieira, Luanda, Angolan literary cityAbstract
Luanda was one of the most important capitals of the former colonies of the ancient Portuguese empire in Africa since its founding in the sixteenth century and also the center of the writing of its own country-Angola, becoming the Angolan literary city par excellence. Throughout its history, many authors took Luanda as a privileged space of their texts. Undoubtedly, the works of the José Luandino Vieira stand out, both for the quality of his writing, either by his emotional adherence to Luanda, which is the scene of most of his short stories and novels.
