Resumo

We present a list of the altitudinal anurofauna of the Parque Nacional da Serra dos Órgãos (PARNASO). Twenty-eight species belonging to seven families were recorded: Brachycephalidae (6 spp.), Bufonidae (3 spp.), Cycloramphidae (4 spp.), Hemiphractidae (5 spp.), Hylidae (8 spp.), Hylodidae (1 spp.) and Odontophrynidae (1 spp.). According to the Red List of the IUCN seven of those species are classified as “Data Deficient” and three has no classification (Cycloramphus organensis, Dendrophryniscus organensis and Fritziana sp. nov.). Ten species are classified as “Least Concern” with populations in decline, despite that, four of them (Bokermannohyla carvalhoi, B. circumdata, Proceratophrys appendiculata and Scinax albicans) were found in abundance at ParNaSO. The other eight species are classified as “Least Concern”, but with stable populations. Gastrotheca ernestoi and Ischnocnema holti are probably restricted to high-elevations areas. Proceratophrys appendiculata is present in a large altitudinal gradient in Serra dos Órgãos. Six species are also in the previous list of endemic species of high elevations areas of ParNaSO and 13 are also found in the list of high-elevation areas of Parque Estadual dos Três Picos, in Serra dos Órgãos. Brachycephalus ephippium, Ischnocnema cf. nasuta, Cycloramphus organensis, Fritziana sp. nov., F. goeldii, F. ohausi, Scinax albicans, S. obtriangulatus, Phasmahyla guttata and Proceratophrys appendiculata were recorded only in the present study. We add three species to the list of endemic species of high-elevations areas of Serra dos Órgãos: Cycloramphus organensis, Dendrophryniscus organensis and Fritziana sp. nov., extending to 14 the number of endemic.
