Abstract

This paper proposes to contribute with the description and explanation on the ways to construct a commented translation, a fruitful research method in Translation Studies and its presentation of data. Based on Bakhtin and the circle (2010), the research approach is qualitative, we use exploratory bibliographic research. For this purpose, we select commented translations from and into sign languages, more specifically genre poetic and scientific article format, for further comparison, description and analysis. We list the forms of data presentation used by the researchers and we propose at the end a plan for the construction of commented translations that involve works in sign languages considering the materialization of the starting text or arrival text in video and the multiple semioses that involve Libras and current academic writing.
