Concatenações do objeto e do sujeito em português e em alemão: Conclusões de experimentos psicolingüísticos on-line

De acordo com a versão clássica de processamento serial de sentença (FRAZIER, 1978; FRAZIER, RAYNER,1982; FRAZIER, CLIFTON JR., 1996), as condições de minimalidade forçam o parser na primeira passada a pressupor uma estrutura sintática envolvendo a computação mais simples possível. Primeiro vem a concatenação cega do verbo com o objeto, em uma expectativa otimista sempre pelo mínimo esforço estrutural. Indícios de que esta estratégia tenha realidade psicológica podem ser facilmente encontrados experimentalmente e em conversas, quando falantes hesitam diante da necessidade de reformular suas previsões sintáticas. Este é um estudo de sentenças em alemão e português que questiona estes achados clássicos da Psicolinguística e aponta para o curso bottom-up da derivação.
